Open Position: Technical Assistant Intern - Counter Wildlife Trafficking

Project Name: Counter Wildlife Trafficking (CWT)
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
Duration: 6 months - 1 year
Reports to: Data Scientist, CWT
Expected Start Date: 1st Feb 2022
Required Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
- B.Tech/Master's degree in Computer Science or relevant fields.
- Strong scripting and programming skills
- Proficiency in using any of the programming languages preferably Python. Familiarity with Django framework and front-end languages (CSS/JavaScript) would be preferred.
- Optional: Experience with web app development
Job responsibilities:
- Implementing automation techniques in different components of data collection, processing, and database management within CWT.
- Collecting and analysing data on social media platforms using data mining techniques.
- Assist in developing a full-stack framework for the ongoing cwt project.
Remuneration: Commensurate with experience
