Nature-Culture Stories

Vana Katha

"Celebrating Nature-Culture Relationships" is collecting and showcasing stories of the unique relationships between people and nature in India that have arisen from generations of sharing space with wildlife. These stories, expressed through art, music, dance, and folklore, highlight how deeply ingrained nature is in our traditions and their role in shaping people's perceptions of sharing space with wildlife. We present these fascinating tales of our shared history through Vana Katha, a storytelling platform developed in collaboration with Nature inFocus.
