Agroforest Biodiversity Resources

Amphibian Awareness Posters

The Western Ghats of India is one of the eight hottest global biodiversity hotspots, home to over 200 species of amphibians — nearly 88% found nowhere else on Earth. Regions like Anamalai and Kodagu host an incredible diversity of frogs, thriving in landscapes of forests, coffee and tea plantations, sacred groves, and winding streams. These amphibians rely on specific microhabitats like rocky pools, leaf litter beds, and swampy vegetation, making them sensitive indicators of ecosystem health. These poster was created to raise awareness about the rich amphibian life of the Western Ghats and inspire appreciation and protection of these remarkable species and their habitats.
