Aritra Kshettry

Aritra joined WCS-India as part of the masters program in 2012 and then joined as a Research Affiliate in 2014. His primary interests lies in the socio-ecology of human-wildlife interactions. His current research and conservation focus is on shared spaces between people, large carnivores (leopards) and mega-herbivores (elephants) in West Bengal state. He is pursuing his doctoral degree under the supervision of Dr. Vidya Athreya and Dr. Ullas Karanth. He is  also an INSPIRE fellow with the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India (2017-2022).
